Expressions of Interest

As we move closer to the Third and Final Reading of the Ngāti Rāhiri Tumutumu Settlement Bill, we recognise this as a meaningful milestone for our iwi.

The reading is scheduled for Wednesday 13 May 2026, with plans for whānau to travel to Wellington on Tuesday 12 May, stay overnight, and return on Thursday 14 May.

We are now inviting expressions of interest from whānau who would like to be present in Parliament so we can stand together and mark this important occasion.

Submitting an expression of interest will help us understand numbers as planning gets underway. At this stage, it is not a confirmed booking, but it will ensure you receive further updates as arrangements are confirmed.

Due to limited capacity, we are able to support up to 100 whānau to attend. Expressions of interest will be considered on a first come, first served basis, so we encourage you to register your interest as soon as possible.

To stay informed about this and other important updates, please also make sure you are registered with Ngāti Tumutumu Trust and that your contact details are

up to date.
